Before our party this weekend for the Boss's christening, we were doing some light cleaning and I realized how incredibly icky the light plate was in our dining room. It was never a favorite - but it came with the house, and we never got around to changing it.
Then I saw that it wasn't just the light switch plate - there were 4 outlet plates in the living room with the same ugly rusting metal. Who picked these??
Anyhow, I had also been cleaning the drawers out in the kitchen the week before and came across a white light switch plate which we must have bought sometime. I knew we had a few electric plates downstairs as well from other projects, so I changed them up. Who knew how much it cost when we bought them - a dollar each plate perhaps? I love these tiny 5 minute projects I'm finally getting to.
